Counsel & Advice

Lina provides limited scope representation to help you navigate your divorce, separation, or other family law matters. Whether you'd simply like to learn more about your rights, or need assistance preparing documents, such as initial pleadings, financial disclosures, or your settlement agreement, Lina can manage any of these tasks.

Lina works as a consulting attorney for clients going through the divorce mediation process. She is also a trained mediator and can work with divorcing couples as their mediator to help them reach an agreement on their terms. Lina can also serve on a collaborative team with couples who are committed to using the collaborative divorce method.

Contract & Co-Counsel Services

Are you an attorney working on a high stakes, complex, or high net worth dissolution matter and have overflow work or a novel issue that needs special attention? Ms. Guillen is available to work with other law firms on a contract basis or as co-counsel for large or complicated matters that require expert written advocacy, research and writing services, motion practice, or trial preparation services.

Special Education Advocacy

Lina has navigated the IEP process and mediation with a local school district to secure long-term private placements and settlements. She is experienced with IEPs, school testing, and advocating so children with learning differences receive the Free and Appropriate Education they deserve. Lina has been a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates since 2024. She is available to consult regarding your case, provide resources, and help map out the next best steps for your child.
